Villamartin Places To Eat and Shop

Casa Cerys is located within a 5 minute walk from the prestigious Villamartin Plaza. The Plaza has by daytime a relaxing and friendly atmosphere and at night time is more vibrant and cosmopolitan. It has an excellent selection of mainly British run bars and restaurants and is clearly focused on the discerning golfing clientele and families that are attracted to the area. There are no loud bars or night clubs and every restaurant and bar competes on service and quality, resulting in excellent dining. In the Plaza you will also find a doctors, a pharmacy, a mini market selling English papers and 2 banks.

Los Dolses Plaza is a 10 min walk away and is more commercially focused with banks, supermarkets, hairdressers etc as well as a selection of bars and restaurants.
There is 1 large supermarket as well as a small British one.
Also nearby are La Zenia and Playa Flamenca.
Playa Flamenca has an excellent Saturday market.

Torrevieja is a 15 min drive away, also accessible by bus from Vilamartin Plaza.
It is the largest local town and has everything you will need from a large Carrefour supermarket to market stalls along the promenade.
Near the Carrefour you will also find Las Habaneras, a large American style open air shopping mall.
In the same area there is also a ten pin bowling alley, crazy golf, multi-screen cinema and an Aqua Park.

Beaches

There are many beautiful beaches along the Orihuela Costa, each one Blue Flag standard and well equipped with bars, sun beds, showers and sporting activities. Here are our favourite beaches.

La Zenia beach

Facilities available: Beach bar, telephone, parking, toilets, showers, restaurants, hotel.
Description: A very popular beach with both tourists and residents alike. La Zenia beach is renowned for its cleanliness, white sand and topaz blue sea. There are plenty of amenities available at your disposal.

Playa Flamenca beach

Facilities available: Beach bar, telephone, parking, toilets, commercial centre, showers, restaurants. Description: One of the smaller & quieter beaches on the coast, Playa Flamenca has been granted a blue flag by the EC. It is an ideal spot for families and has easy access including parking and bus stop.

Cabo Roig beach

Facilities available: Beach bar, parking, toilets, water sports, restaurant, public telephone.
Description: Set within a cove on one of the Costa Blanca’s most exclusive developments, Cabo Roig beach is ideal for a relaxing day sunbathing. It has soft fine sand and there are beautiful views of the Marina. Suitable for people of all ages with plenty to do including wind surfing and water skiing.
